Meet him in a very public place and please take someone with you!!!!!!!! DO NOT leave with him either. Keep the visit short and ask lots of questions. When he leaves write down his license plate number and check it out.

Hey Sunshine,
please be very careful. Chances are much higher that he's a great guy, but always better safe than sorry. I would meet him somewhere very public, and bring people with you. When you leave, don't go straight home. Keep it this way until you are very comfortable that there's nothing to worry about. Always make sure that someone knows where you are and that they have some info on him ( name, his address, phone number, etc). Btw-I think it's awesome that you're taking precautions, but I also wish you happiness with this guy( if it's romantic, a great friendship if not...)

Take a friend along, meet an a public place (food court at a shopping mall is a good place) DO NOT leave with him. When it is time to go walk him to the mall exit and tell him you had some shopping you wanted to, thank him for the meeting and walk to one of the shops keep an eye out (just in case he follows you) if you feel he IS following you DO NOT leave the mall, go to the information desk and tell them, and ask if mall security can escort you to your car. If he follows you after you leave the mall drive straight to the neares police/sherriffs department and make as much noise as you can driving up there.

Don't ever go anywhere with someone you don't know, and you don't ever REALLY know ANYONE on the internet. If you are old enough to meet someone through the internet, make it in a public place for a short daylight meeting, like lunch at a busy restaurant, and never, ever be alone. Have a trusted friend standing by at another table, or make an arranged "chance meeting" as this friend "happens to run in to you". But please, never meet someone alone. EVER!

Cell Phone, meet in a public place, never give him your address, not getting into a car with someone you barely know .... those kind of things. GO HOME separately in a cab, and have TRUSTED friends/family be there waiting with you and sticking around to make sure you are safe, and then taking you elsewhere or home.

Meet in a public place, like a restaurant.

If you're driving, get there early so he doesn't have the chance to get your license plate number. Make him leave first, so he can't see which car you get into. And you can get his license plate number. Don't give away any personal info (numbers, address, etc.)

If you need to meet someone you met online,

I suggest you bring some of your friends, and meet in a public place, in broad daylight!

You have NOTHING to worry about. Men you meet online you meet online because they aren't "dangerous" enough to attract women in the real world (which is completely stupid, isn't it?). Any guy you meet online is going to be so incredibly greatful that you've actually agreed to meet him for real, he's going to treat you like a goddess.
