Go to a hardware store or a craft store and buy some of the same wire for hanging pictures. It is less than a buck and will do the job just like the wire you didn't get.

If you are talking about a mirror that does not have a frame, there is a way to hang it. Purchase, at Home Depot, mirror clips. They are sort of "U" shaped and are evenly spaced around the mirror and are screwed into the wall. A little "ledge" supports the mirror. If you are talking about a framed mirror, attach picture wire the same way you would if you were hanging a picture.

Not entirely sure of your question.. I just bought two mirrors.. they did not come with the wire but did come with some metal fixtures on (actually) all four sides so in case one wanted to hang it on its end or on the side.. but anyway.. rather than buying wire.. I went to Home Depot and bought some small linked chain.. not to be confused with big chains.. but very small linked chain.. I spread apart one of the links and hooked it into the hardware that was on the mirror and that did it.. It was stronger than the wire I thought.

I am a custom framer and when we make mirrors we don't hang them with wire. Usually they are too heavy. I would put a mirror hook on each vertical rail about a third of the way down. Then you can put two screws in the wall and hang from the hooks.

Double-sided tape works well for small mirrors. It can be found in places like Wal-mart, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.

You just peel off both sides of the tape and press it on the backside of the mirror. THen press it against the wall and it stays.

Please trust me on this--go spend $1.89 on the wire and install it. Trying to get nails perfectly level so that BOTH rings are on the same plane...very frustrating... A wire will allow you to VERY easily straighten the frame on the wall.
