That's it. The can has to be opened first. I recommend a ball-peen hammer and some dynamite.
If they don't swim right away, they're probably giving you the silent treatment for not letting them out right away so they could play with their new friends. Or perhaps they're molting. Or miltewing or someting.
I'm kind of curious as to what sort of aquatic life you have in your aquarium. For some reason, I keep picturing a whole sea of hamsters and gerbils doing the backstroke for all eternity. It's like that next-to-the-last scene in "Titanic," but with a wide variety of very small rodents and non-amphibious mammals.
Is my ESP working, or do I need to get my sound and picture back on the same channel again?

They are incredibly slow fish and are probably moving too slow for you to see. Check back on them in about 5-6 years. They should have moved by then. Keep feeding them though, use tins or baked beans. One tin twice an hour should do the trick...

they found the key and opened the tin and run away, the tin is empty now. so their is no fish to swim. perhaps you should run after them, they just run to the next street.
Hurry up

put a pizza in front of the tank. I am sure they will wiggle their way out of the tin to hop on the pizza(but then they will be commiting fishaside)

They only swim when your back is turned. Trust me, they're going at it right now.
