I drive with no shoes on. I can't feel the petal when i have shoes on and i end up slaming on the gas or break. Or riding the clutch.

You aren't driving safely. You should never have to "feel" where any pedal is, they don't move around. If you don't automatically know where the pedals are, you have a problem. In a panic stop, with bare feet, you may not be able to put full pressure on the brake without the support of a shoe, your foot may be damp and slip off, or there may be a piece of grit that hurts and causes you to take your foot back off the pedal. Take it from me, I have been driving many hundreds of thousands of miles, in both auto and standard transmission vehicles. I have tried the bare foot trick, many years ago, and it is not safe, period.

I drive with shoes ONLY because if I am pulled over by a money hungry cop, I will have had my shoes on.. because it is the law.. but I prefer to drive without shoes

I've only driven twice in my life. Once in a manual in a parking lot in Michigan, where I nearly backed into a snowbank.
Second time was a "zoom boom" on a farm. Hella fun to drive those things.
Both times I wore shoes.

In the summer I NEVER drive with shoes. It's cool and feels good.
I can drive with shoes on, but it doesn't make me happy.

Well I have only driven once and it was with shoes. But my dad was telling me about this and he was going with no shoes and he told me how it's against the law and stuff but they do let you wear flip-flops! They say that your feet don't have as good of traction or grip or something as shoes would. But idk!

there's no such thing as a shoe law. who ever told you that or what ever rumor you heard about that is crap. if you can prove me wrong show me where it says it is a law to drive only with shoes on.
