What if the next time they staged a rally there was no media and no counter demonstrators? What if there was no notice in the local papers or on local television news? What if no one but their few sad supporters came out to watch?

Wouldn't they look ridiculous - all dressed up with no audience to perform to.

Great question. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this would work for many of the racist people and organizations out there? Most of these organizations would fade into obscurity if they did not get the media attention. This is their only claim to fame, and they are too uneducated and ignorant to learn that we are all part of one race...the Human Race and should treat each other with the respect we all deserve. Just think about some of the "unique" questions on here, if people just ignored it, a lot of it would stop. These people have to have an audience to make them feel important and accepted. I am so blessed that my parents brought me up to accept and embrace all people. I have led a much more interesting life because of it, and will continue to do so. Have a great night.

Because sin will not cease to exist, hatred will always be present in some form. It wouldn't matter if they lost the attention - it would dwell among themselves and they would feed off each other. It might change in outward expression or appearance, but the heart of the issue which is simply hate, pride, selfishness, and ignorance will always exist in some form. Many will see the truth of it and will have a change of heart and we just have to continue to teach them the love of Christ who died to save ALL, and pray that they'll be transformed from the inside out.

Good Q.

One can hope that certainly. The problem isn't the costume it's prejudice.

The lack of tolerance, acceptance, understanding, is a learned behavior. Once those who feel levels of prejudice stop preaching and teaching it, the possibilities for its exitinction will increase.

Sadly they are going to exist always because for some reason people are being handed down an education of hatred and bogotry from their parents and again SADLY that will never change.

I would think so. Its like annoying kids that bug you to get attention. Ignore them and they will stop. Unless they are actually doing something dangerous, I say we ignore them until they realize the losers they really are and give up.

In the sense that their biggest thrill in life is being provocative, you're right, but I can't help thinking that people who behave like that are closeted anyway. It would be like shunning a transvestites' convention.

Haven't they? I've never even seen one. It takes a real idiot to think that another person is inferior because of their race. Not to mention the blasphemy against God! God makes us the race that we are and to think that some races are inferior is to think that God is not fair.

Alas, ignoring them doesn't work. We have to make it a social stigma to belong to such a backward group.
