I've had over 175 txts come in at all hrs, selling a variety of things, and what appears to be rambling discourse or reading from a book, w/poor comprehension skills. It all started about mid August.

I've been having the same problem. My Nextel cell phone gets lots of text messages in a foreign language. Of course I get charged for every single one of these stupid messages. Apparently the do not call list does not protect us from foreign calls. I have put both my home and cell phones on it, and to be honest it really hasn't helped at all.

Do they happen to all come from the same number? If so, you may be able to set something on your phone to block that number.

Most likely, you may have to go to your wireless provider, and ask them what they would do, however.

It also sounds like somebody signed you up for txtspam... if it doesn't stop, might as well bite the bullet and text "stop" back to that number.

Who knows, it might work, and you have nothing to lose (unless you get charged for rcvd. messages...)
