Did Karl Rove "out" Foley to deter congressional issues?, ie: stem cell research and particulary Gay marriage?

Hardly. As much as I like the issues Democrats stand for, I have to admit it doesn't take a whole lot of brains or guile to outwit them politically.

Regarding the second part of the question...I don't think Republicans losing the House would be helpful for those issues.

He's a manipulative college drop out. I know a guy who is academically stagnant but believe in so much crap that he's actually fooling a lot of my friends in his own little ploy. And, guess what, he was born on the same day as Rove. Just a bit of generalization there, i know, but i'm too lazy to read into his endless, worthless rant about moral ideal and all other nothings but nonsense lectures.
