Sure!!!! I have two ferrets...One is female, one is male. Both are fixed though and they are inseperable. Altough if they aren't fixed, I don't see any problem with keeping them in the cage until the female is in the heat. If you don't want her to get preggy, get her out of there and put her in a different cage...Or get both of them fixed. Unfixed ferrets tend to be more aggresvie, especially the males than fixed ones. Hope this helps!

Of course they CAN be placed into the same cage. They CAN be placed into a lot of places where they SHOULD NOT be placed, however. For instance I CAN jump off a bridge, but it's not a good idea. The answer to your question is along those lines...
My brother had four ferretts at one time. They all shared the same cage. I don't think there was ever any fights.
You can get your ferrets "fixed" which is what they did. "Fixing" helps to curb some of those "animal urges" and leads to a more docile pet. Probably the best idea if you plan to only have one cage (and you don't want lots of extra ferrets).

Ferrets LOVE other ferrets! Statistics show that a ferret lives almost twice as long if caged with another. Of course, the cage needs to be big enough for the two, and if you don't want baby ferrets, separate them when she goes into heat.

more than likely there would be a fight to the death. this was witnessed personally by a neighbor of mine who also has ferrets and she put the female and the male in the same cage together.

i would think so, ferrets are very socialble animals, and they usually get along great and enjoy being with each other. so, go ahead, try it! but be sure to watch them awhile and make sure that they get along fine. Because just like people, ferrets have different personalities, and all of them don't get along all the time.

they will have to get use to each other.it may take a little time. just put them together for few minutes at a time. they should end up being friends. sometimes they will play rough though. just keep a close eye on them. I had a female and male a few yrs. ago. It took them a couple of weeks then they were fine....good luck...

to a ferret, each and all the international is a toy. it truly is complicated to think of like a ferret (except you're a three year-previous who lives on mountain dew and pixie sticks), yet staying a step earlier than them will do wonders for holding any experience of order with him. they learn immediately that if, by potential of shifting or nudging or pawing at some thing, it truly is going to do some thing cool like turn or fall or spray everywhere. what exciting! in addition they learn tremendously speedy, nevertheless, that issues tied or clamped down do no longer grant close to as plenty entertainment. so which you would be able to would desire to devise hassle-free advice on the thank you to maintain his muddle container and bowls firmly planted down so he can no longer circulate them. him being so youthful potential he's possibly to artwork extra good and longer at it than an person. you would be able to would desire to get ingenious as many furnish businesses have not made truly good ferret-data bowls & bins yet. (in my homestead, that meant drilling small holes by using the muddle bins so as that they may be stored zip-stripped to the bars of the cage. we in basic terms shrink the binds as quickly as we would desire to bathe it out. we pass by using a great form of zip strips, however the mess-loose section is worth it.) prevention is the main suitable coverage for any preparation of those adult men, on condition that ferrets have the attention span of a fence submit and do exactly no longer "get it" once you attempt to discipline them after the certainty. if it took him 2 hrs of being outdoors the cage earlier he went poo on the carpet, and he's in basic terms 13-wks previous, he's doing truly properly for muddle container conduct. it truly is beneficial to have a muddle container out of the cage for him while he's out too, just to enhance the preparation, yet so far he's doing very properly. no longer everybody is so fortunate! one in each of our boys is amazingly good approximately his conduct too, the different could no longer care much less, lol. and that they actually do plenty extra effective in pairs - it enables provide them a focal ingredient for that chaotic potential - so whether it truly is in any respect achieveable, heavily evaluate getting him yet another ferret. being extremely social critters, they do extra effective bodily and mentally in pairs. age & gender do no longer possibly rely plenty to them, as long because it truly is somebody they might cuddle with.
