These songs spoke about and for a generation that was Anti-War, but from a unique standpoint. There was a down-home, poor-draftees-come-from-these-roots quality about their music. Very cool.

My fav is Rush. They have influenced so many. Geddy Lee's bass goes awesome with the band's feel. Neal Peart's drumming is unbelievable, he makes john bonham sit up in his grave. And Alex Lifeson's guitar makes it sound like there is 3 guitarists up there. Rush's 30 sum odd year career is something really to remember.

I can't pick just one. I love Stevie Nicks, because she just has that edgy, female rock voice, and she's got some great songs. "White wing dove" rules. She can rock just as hard as the guys. I also love the Beatles. Their songs are so catchy and easy to dance to. Van Halen, Aerosmith, and AC/DC also rock pretty hard, too.

Pink Floyd..There has been nothing like them..but The Flaming Lips did a pretty good impression of them on there last albumn.

Beatles, hands down. They are what really sparked my music intrest. My favorite song by them has to be Blackbird. I could listen/sing that song all day. Typical stereotypical band I know but I still love them...sigh...

I am a HUGE fan of classic rock, so there is many to choose from...this is tough.... but I'm gonna have to say Led Zepplin...then Pink Floyd...then.....woah! it's so hard to order them!!

Grand Funk Railroad.....they played simple straight forward rock....not the most talented but LOUD & entertaining in concert!!!!
