You need to locate the bios update file from your motherboard manufacturer's website.

Each company has slightly different methods of "flashing" the rom-bios chip on your motherboard that may or may not be removable.

Your best bet would be to find the manual for your motherboard, and follow the flashing instructions ◘exactly◘ as they are printed.

well if one wishes to upgrade there bios they would have to find out the company that makes the bios. download the update and run it. becareful though if you turn off the computer or it freezes or power goes out you could really damn your bios during the upgrade ;)

its called "Flashing the Bios"
and it is considered dangerous because if ANYTHING happens to interrupt the flashing process your computer will NOT boot up anymore.

It should be done by a tech
