I need to leave.. My husband... fast. Its not physical abuse.. but another issue. I am a stay at home mom, and I dont know how I can. All I can seem to find is battered womens shelters.. is there any help for women with other situations (equally as bad, I can assure you!) Please help! Fast!!! Thanks!

how about a church? There are many pastors who will know what to do, ask one.

You never say what your husband is doing that is so bad that you have to leave. If you truly believe that he is worth leaving, you may want to consider the following things... Go to a church or neighbor for living arrangements. If you don't have a job, you need to start looking. Look for childcare if it cannot be provided be someone willing to do it. Make specific arrangements with whoever you will stay with about when you will be staying, for how long, and etc. While your husband is away, pack your belongings. Get an early start be packing less obvious things - like summer clothes. Good luck.

The only option I can think of outside of women's shelters are churches. But I don't know how helpful they can be. You don't say why you have to leave. If it is that imperative you get away from him, call whoever in your family has money and see if they will buy you and your kids a plane or bus ticket to whomever you can go to in your family or friends. See if they can do it tonight or in the morning.
Good luck

well...if it's that bad sweetie...you need to bite the bullet and just go get an apartment and a job to support yourself. And..while not wanting to be a traitor to my sex...I would write a few checks and cash them so you have some money to get started. Depending on the issue...what about the kids?...are they in any danger of any sort???...

Do you have any friends or family that are willing to put you up,until you get back on your feet?If not maybe you can try welfare.I know they are not the best place to go,but If you tell them you are homeless with 4 kids, maybe they can help.I wish you the best of luck.

Call the police and get a restraining order. If he is harming you or the kids get him out of there! And do it fast! Go to a neighbor's house for the short term. Good luck to you...

You changed your Avatar!
You do not have many options, outside of family. Friends, even the good one, won't take that much baggage.
Make it work. Your options are very limited.

Leaving your husband on what grounds? Not physical abuse?..........better think twice, dear..........
You can run away from your husband but you can not run away from your marriage not unless you have a valid reason for doing that....lol.......
