No. While I am not on favor of it and it is certainly offensive to many people, we still have freedom of speech in this country. The media is making too big of a deal out of it--making a story where there really isn't one.

No NASCAR shouldn't ban the Confederate flag from the fans because this is the land of free speech. As long as the fans don't use racial language then everything will be fine.

I have never known anyone, who actually gave NASCAR a real chance, that didn't end up liking it.

I think that it may be time to give up the Confederate flag. It is offensive to some people and keeps some people from being part of NASCAR. The fact that they are offended doesn't really bother me. Some people find a way to be offended by everything and everyone. There is no way that everyone will be happy, but if NASCAR wants to expand it's viewership, that will probably help.

NO it should not be banned....how can you tell fans who pay good money to go watch a race they can't fly a flag that is a part of our country's history. I personally would not fly one but that doesn't mean that others don't have the right to do so. I am not offended by it one bit. What does offend me is how people in CA and TX (I live in TX by the way) think it is ok to fly the Mexican flag here in the US....I think that should be banned. I live in a town where the Mexican flag is flown right next to the US flag and it disgusts me.

No! The flag is just an opinion to the fans. NASCAR itself does not support it in anyway. I dont think they should tell fans that they can not fly it.

The Confederate flag isn't illegal, so it would be an infringement on people's right to freedom of expression to ban that flag.

if I did'nt go to the races in person to experience it for Myself, I would,nt even worry about it. NASCAR is changing but You have to remember, they have been around since 1949 so, it just takes time. they have a driver diversity program headed by Magic Johnson to, bring more minority drivers into the sport so, things ARE changing.

If you are gonna ban it, you will have to ban the America flag. I am sure that some of the British are offended by it. While we are at it can we ban stupid people, as they annoy me.
