Try preparing a Resume and indicate on the Position desired: Admin. Assitant or maybe Medical assistant. And then pass it to clinics/hospital/or dental clinics and make sure to follow-up on them after two or three days. Maybe that will help you find a job on your degree or major.
There are some really nice templates at microsoft.com check it out and try to use it in making your resume.

Check if there are any organizations for that profession. For example, physicians have the AMA (American Medical Association).
Every possible career, field of study, hobby or sport has such an organization.
Check on the organization's website or phone the local office if they happen to have one near you. Also, check the websites of local hospitals and read the classified ads of your local newspaper. Some cities have job fairs too. I do not know if medical assistants are placed through any temporary agencies but you could call a couple of agencies that handle placement of nursing staff and see if those agencies have any suggestions for you. They may not place medical assistants but they may know an agency that does.

I think a lot of money can be made on the Internet.
Recently, I joined on CashCrate and filled some given free offers and its going very well. There are no fees to join, it is absolutely free.

This may not appeal much, but for every person you refer, you get 20% of their earning. And 10% of earnings from that your referrals refer to CashCrate.
It takes little time to build up a great number of referrals essential to make lot of money; slowly.....this could be a great source of money generation. And the best part is that other people are in a sense, working for you.
As it is true for any other business patience and hard-work are essential ingredients for success of this business too. The good part is that you start earning from day one. The income is incremental it starts slow but goes on multiplying as you work further.
There are many ‘work at home’ program available on internet but most of them require you to pay first hand to join the program. Most of them are tricky because if they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.
I am not advocating this site, but simply showing you the way which I have tested.

Well, I'm looking for a CEO position myself. But in the meantime I'm working on a lower level. Generally you have to start at the bottom and work your way up.
