he's having a rough time now because of trent green being hurt. he's still coming through. the numbers he put up in 9 starts last year was unbelievable. no one could possibly expect him to play at that pace for an entire year.

well if you compare him to last year then no.....last year it looked like if he started the whole year he would have beat shawn alexander for the rushing title and for the touchdowns in a season record.....people would say that its because it trent green is out.....which might play a role because when you cant pass then they just line up 8 in the box with a running back like johnson to protect the run.....i personally believe the real reason that larry johnson isnt performing well is because of a huge unsung hero.......the o lineman willie roaf that retired made a BIG difference to that running game.......if you watch him play which isnt often because hardly anyone watched the offensive lineman.....he's like a brick wall or a fridge.....he just blocks any d lineman coming....maybe johnson will breakout the second half of the season.......hope so because i like big runs more than big passes.....like a back like barry sanders had to earn his yards like a dog and a lot of receivers just make incredible catches i give em that but not as exciting in my opinion

How is LJ doing bad? He leads the league in total scrimmage yards. LT has bout the same amount of rushing yards with far less receiving yards. LJ has been carrying the team on his bac.
