Its been just about 6 months since i got it done, and its healing fine and everything, and its not infected. But i have a problem. Its really hard to explain. The top hole of my belly button piercing, has some sort of skin around it. Its raised up a little bit, kind of like a bump, but its not filled with fluid or anything. Its just regular skin. Now it dosent get bigger, but it also wont go away. it dosent hurt when i touch it, or anything like that. its just really annoying having it there. I want to kno is it there because its still healing, or will it go away? some one with their belly button pierced please help!?!

I have mine done, and my 13 year old got hers done last week. Its nothing to worry about. It is just extra skin and the way it has healed.I do know of a product which I personally use, every woman should have a bottle. It helps with raised scarring, skincare, etc it is about 8.95 and worth every penny. It lasts for ages.

it is just a kind of skin tag from the piercing it won't hurt anything but it won't go away either. No big deal, just extra tissue.

it's called a keloid, meaning that when you healed it created extra thick scar tissue , and pretty much nothing can be done but keep this in mind for future piercings that you are suseptible to them.
