bacteria gathers in there and can cause bad eye infections. Replace them every few months (save the old ones just incase of mascara emergencies though! lol

They reckon replace it every 6 months so it doesn't get goopy & breed bacteria. I just got a new one but before that I had it for a year - if I had had some sort of eye problem I'd probably have ditched it sooner tho.

Couple weeks... Its really not good to keep mascara more than 2 months, its a breeding ground for bacteria.

Funny you should ask! I bought my mascara at the beginning of July and just this past weekend, I finished up the tube. I need more mascara ASAP! :)

One month. You're supposed to replace aprx. every 3 months to avoid eye infections, etc. I've noticed that mine starts flaking all over my face after 5 months.

Change it twice a year. Doesn't matter if it's not drying up yet, you have to pitch it because of the bacteria!

My dog ate the tip end of mine off so it is slowly coming out... its weird but I have had it for um like 1 month! lol
