Judging from your previous questions I would like to commend you for diligence in cleanliness.
It is refreshing to find one so young who has real concern for such mundane chores.
As for the vomit encrusted lampshades, I have found it easier to chunk the gastronomically enhanced ones for new ones.
Probably make the Gerbils feel better, also.

I've found a steady stream of ale-powered urine works best, but you may want to unplug the lamp first.
But then again, you may want to sample the free electricity, too. Whoever knows with you? Ha, ha!

vinegar & water 1/2 & 1/2 mix ratio.....or try seltzer water....seeing as mum's a drunk, seltzer should be on hand.
