don't know, but if ppl wants to know a lyric of a song, it's everyone rights to know so. depends sharing someone underware to their love one is wrong and right, so depends how how ppl look at it.

You CAN share sheet music. The actual music is protected from being 'recorded and sold' but anyone who knows how to write music notes can write out the sheet music. They can't arrest people just because they can read music...lol You can give someone a book to read. You can give them sheet music to play by. Just don't give them an Audio Book or a music cd... ;-)

Probably a copyright violation. I'm assuming you're not posting original works but published sheet music of someone else's compositions. If so, you need to check whether there is a copyright still in effect for the composition. If there is, then you would definitely be in violation unless you first obtained the permission of the copyright holder to post the material.

is it copyrighted music??? Then yes, there are many people out there with there "Version" of popular songs to download, the legality of these self made sheet music pages is still under dabate by many in the music comunity. The popular guitar site, www.olga.net currently has a link discussing the issue.

i really dont consider it illegal because i have been to thousands and thousands of websites that give out the sheet music for free.
