Don't say "yeah, I think they're fine" but when you see a mixed couple holding hands walking down the street, that's not what you think. I truly believe they are perfectly fine and beautiful. I have proof because I am in one myself. = ]

I even dated a French poodle... but she was a real b*tch.

When I see a mixed couple, I'm proud and happy to be part of the human race that sees each other for what they are and not bogged down in societal restrictions, and I think they are beautiful, and I hope they don't have negative experiences from other small minded bigoted people. Rock on!

Times are changing and so are people's hearts. I was born in an era when mixed was really hard, but men's hearts have softened, and will continue. It was never wrong, just in some people's minds. The ones that judged the mixed couples and their children were the ones that were wrong not the couple or their children, they just had to pay the price for some people's ignorance.

i'm white. My spouse is from the South East Asia / Asia Pacific section. as quickly as I grew up, it became understood that relationship non-whites became not appropriate. properly, not precisely all non-whites, by way of fact particular Hispanics have been allowed. The reasoning given became the cultural ameliorations, not in keeping with color, although. when I left domicile, I dated an area American female, then some Latina ladies, some Asians, and a few black ladies, as properly as white ladies. Admittedly, cultural subject concerns did upward push up. yet i got here across that expertise and appreciate for different cultures, exceptionally while blended with love, can artwork by using those subject concerns. the biggest's to remember that not all of us in fantastic condition into their stereotype mould, be it non secular, ethnical, color, or citizenship/nationality, we ought to be taught to discover the money for everybody the prospect to be themselves and settle for them as such. As for what race could I be likely to this point different than my very own? i think of i could like Hispanics.

I honestly don't even think much about it at all. I look at a couple of any race and either think wow what a beautiful couple, or wow they look kind of odd together, or uh oh he really pissed her off this time. Something generic like that. I don't think about weather they are the same race or not.
I have dated men from several different races myself, and my daughter is multi-racial...black/white/Puerto Rican/Native American. I also have an adopted daughter who is Laotian. I honestly don't look at skin color.

I think they are great. When you hold hands, the colors of your skin contrast and it is artful and amazing. But it does take a bit more understanding. You both have to learn something about the others culture and lifestyle. But I love learning and I think no matter what color you are, you should be happy!

I don't really notice nowadays. I also know that my children don't think twice about it- people are people to them. As long as you're happy, it doesn't matter what your race is.

And I'm curious as to how long it took for people to stop bickering about relationships of people of different national origins. It's rare for anyone to gripe about that. We took a step forward then; we need to take another one now.

i am a mixed person and therefore I have no problems with it and often times have a difficult time identifying with one particular race. In my experiences of LIVING, I have found good and bad in all races! We are all the HUMAN RACE, after all!!! Unfortunately, people are raised to "stick with their own kind" (go figure), and therefore don't like the stigma and looks they received from others if they decide to date "outside?" their race. They therefore find it easier (by society's standards) to date their own(??)...I think it is a shame, because, after all, you are dating an INDIVIDUAL PERSON and NOT THEIR RACE!
....and, besides, it's YOUR happiness you are pursuing and not SOCIETY'S. Enjoy your life and whomever you decide to be with!!

In this day and age, 2006, they are all too commonplace to be consider as different or special anymore.
