Take her advice... I am sure she was joking. It would be really funny if you dressed up as the Joker from Batman. He sure has one big creepy smile!! :)

I don't know, should you?
Have you ever heard the saying, "If the shoe fits, wear it?" (or in this case the costume...hahaha) I'm not saying the "shoe" does fit. But, maybe you should put some HONEST thought in to her indirect inference. OR, even better, ask her to be more specific regarding what she means which would in turn be more helpful to you.
It's always useful to think about our personal behavior and how it looks/feels to the outside world, we sometimes forget to be conscious of it.
I hope that rather than be offended by her comment, you use it as an inspiring pivotal moment in your life. What would it be like if you smiled more often?

No I think that's unique. No one has ever dressed as a human being before for halloween, so I think what you're about to do is a good plan.

You are the one who needs to ask yourself if you should be offended. If she in fact said that to you and if you really love her perhaps to should evaluate how you treat her. If you are really a good guy than yes I would be offended. Regardless, I think I would want to think about the comment seriously. Best of Luck!

Naw, I don't think you should be offended at all. I think she's just trying to tell you that you need to cheer up. Perhaps you have been feeling a bit down or have been stressing lately. She just wants you to be happy.

change your attitude or someone else will be having her for new years eve, smile and don't be so negative. they don't like that.. you need to go down and eat you know what for at least 45 minutes straight to reset her attitude... matter of fact, put on a walkman and do it for 90 minutes to make sure she is happy, then dont be so negative, i been there and you don't want to be alone... have the last word every time.. make the last thing you say " yes dear"

I'd do it if I were you. At least if you dress as a human being you won't have to sleep in the doghouse that night.

The way she tells it you must be pretty grumpy. Hey, go as one of the seven dwarfs and then you won't have to change anything. Cheer up and give her a big smile.
