What happened to the 1980's band called the Motels? Are they still around? I thought their 'All Four One' album was decent but the one after that, that was produced by Val Garay, s*cked...I read an article where lead singer Martha Davis said they had a decent album ready to go but the stuffed shirts at Capitol Records rejected it....they brought Val Garay in and he screwed with the band's sound because in his words he could not 'hear' the songs...did that end the Motels, totally? I know that screwed them career-wise.

I know she had a solo hit after that but then, I dunno, maybe they went to visit Quarterflash or something ;-)
