Actually, music is such a part of me, and is buried so deeply into my soul, that I view music -all types of music- as a spiritual experience. While I most frequently listen to old school heavy metal, I have in my collection (and very well used, thank you) music by Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Bette Midler, Barbara Streisand, Peter Tosh, Classical music, George Jones, and almost everything in between and to the extremes of these.
Music isn't just something I listen to... it lives in my soul, and is... actually, the music is me, and I am the music... there is no separation, and never will be.

GOOOD question!!
The Cure makes me think about my friends and to reminisce alot... dream about things... cool stuff. "Live" arouses the hot , fiery side of me , the side that wants to just scream out "HEY I"M ALIVE!!!!!"
AnitaBaker,
Fontella Bass, and Etta James...well thats time for a new nighty honey , and draw the blinds....* sigh *. .38 Special and RREO Speedwagon, Bryan Adams and I'm ready to work on building someone a new house, gimme a hammer man! I'm a girl of the eighties, but there are some 90's stuff I like too.

But, when I'm in my studio and I'm painting or I have a piece of clay on the wheel...its either Native South American Flute Music or the Brandenburg Conchertos ( SP? I love it but can't spell it!! ) for me. Peaceful..soothing and definitly inspiration to my creativity.

so, there you have it.

It relaxes me, gets me excited, makes me feel elated... everything.

I love going to concerts the most, where I can best feel the energy of the person or people performing. It's feels incredible, like you're sharing something special with them; it's just you and the band and the music.

Coming in at a close second is when I'm dancing around in my underwear. I can forget about everything else and only feel the music. There's nothing weighing me down... :D

I believe that music has an adverse effect on its listeners and thier attitudes and behaviors. I think that for example punk music gives people a short attention span... especially those die hard punk rockers and emo frieks...

But I soley listen to country, classical, comedy, motion picture soundtrack, composed instrumental, piano, new age, and jazz

It depends on what kind of music. If it's fast and jazzy, than it make me want to dance. If it's slow and soothing to the ear, than I just want to relax.

It can alter or accelerate a mood I am in. It can bring me down. It can make me happy, it can make me cry, it can make me angry, it can make me motivated. It gets me through the tough times. It fills my spiritual side with a fulfilling lure.
