Since earlier in the evening saw some brief images, interviews with Clint Eastwood on his coming movie about the soldiers who raised the flag on Iwa Jima(not sure of spelling) and belive it was 4 soldiers and am sure you can find easily a illustration of it OR a fabvorite of mine- William Wallace the Scottish Hero who gained freedom for Scotland in the sixteen hundreds from the British and made famous by Mel Gibson in the movie Braveheart-there is a scene where he is standing on the mountaintop looking out into the horizon or when on horseback with blue paint on his face addressing the Scottish men (on foot) of why they shoud fight for freedom(for they were inclined to turn back and go home.
Can depict a man on a rearing horse holding up and pointing it toward the sky a sword-naturally it should be clear that the man is wearing a kilt or with the war going on in Irag you can show a American Soldier looking back over his shoulder toward his family and the backdrop for the soldier is a American Flag . If you're a lover of nature, animals you can depict a baby deer, (fawn) and the deer mother charging AFTER a Lion-like the commercial, which I love

You could use a non-traditional view in addition to the traditional. A picture of someone working in a factory or taking care of their children or an elderly person. Everyday people helping disaster victims. Things like that. I remember a picture I saw of a woman giving a dog stranded by Hurricane Katrina in the U.S. a bottle of water. Doesn't sound like much, but she was tottering on the side of a boat in horribly filthy water as a deceased person floated by. That took courage in my book. I don't know if I could have done that. The Christian Bible talks about doing it for the least of these being the same as doing to their Saviour. Hope this helps.

Human beings represent insanity. Seriously, you could just walk into the class and present yourself. Insanity is: lack of reason or good sense. extreme foolishness, or an act that demonstrates such foolishness. there aren't really many if any objects that can represent insanity... chaos at best. but we would not create an item that was insane... You could however argue that a weapon represents insanity. yes, that would work quite well.

I picture the firefighters going into the World Trade Center on 9/11. A symbol of someone that put their own lives on the line to save/help others.
