He is 106 points behind Burton. He would had only been about 20 points behind if it wasn't for mega douchbag vickers. And is it just me, or does it seem the only way hendrick teams can win anymore is by wrecking people and cheating which we all know Jimmie does. I personally think Jr. will end his racing legacy with mult. championships 2 or 3 of them. That is if his team keeps getting better and better. No more seasons like 2005, i hope.

First of all, you give Dale Jr. fans a bad rep. I don't like the hendrick teams but you can't say they are champions because they cheat. Every race team has broken a NASCAR rule at least one time. The next races I think Dale has been strong in, but to make up 108 points will take a lot from him and bad luck from the other drivers. As for Jr. winning championships, I think he will win one or two. I don't think he will ever be as good as his father but hey I could be wrong.

I don't think he will win it this season as he has to make up 106 points but next season will be the season of RALPH DALE EARNHARDT JR!!

I also think that Jr will win 2-3 championships but I don't think that he will win it this year. If he does then the rest of the drivers ahead of him will have to continue to get DNF'S in every race.

If Jr hadn't gotten wrecked last Sunday, he would have left Talladega with the points lead!!

i could prefer to, as a Dale fan, say he has a great danger. ok I stated it. yet like many others i think of he will ought to get shifting and somewhat extra aggressive if he needs it. i could prefer to think of he and Tony have been experimenting on set united statesa.suggestions mutually as protecting a great spot interior the standards for the chase. that is staggering to think of roughly mutually as observing those following few races. i'm unable to have self belief i'm approximately to assert this.... i think Kyle have been given the shaft final year by using HMS, even in the previous the be attentive to Jr's arrival. unquestionably interior the days of the previous factors gadget Kyle could have a lock on it till he tousled great time. and prefer Jeff became he could additionally now, by way of new chase format, be robbed of what in actuality ought to be his as he has pushed his butt off this year. Now any of the 12 can finally end up #a million by using the top. Whats going to be exciting is the incontrovertible fact that the desirable 2 in factors will the two be on probation for the 1st 4 races of the chase and the different 10 understand it and the different 31 autos would be racing for wins and honor and proprietor factors. NASTY!!!!!

i hate when people say, "he would have more points if this didn't happen." it is just racing. I am a huge kenseth fan and he would be leading the points if not for the bad finish at kansas. there are a lot of what if's. No, i don't think jr is going to win the cup. If they had 10 restrictor plate races in the final 10, then maybe, but that is the only type of track he is good at

Juniors chance of winning the title pretty much went out the window when he was wrecked on Sunday. He would have been close to Burton and had momentum heading into the final 6 races. More importantly, he would have been ahead of Kenseth who is a much bigger threat than Burton.

I sure hope JR. does. I was so mad with what happened
to him. They should have black flag vickers right then for what
he did. Hes sorry my foot. I'd show him what sorry is, in a
back dark alley some where along with gordon. Vickers is
taking his lessons from gordon a little to far. Both have really
bad sportsmanship. As you can see i don't like either of them.
Good luck to Junior.

I know its mathematically possable but i don't see it happening. Yes I am a fan of Jr. am big fan of his dad. He doesn't quite know how to handle himself as his own person yet is what i think. I wouldn't want to be his brother Kerry though I do believe he is the kyle petty of the Earnhardt family. Dale will someday come into his own and be a hell of a racer. I do not think this is the year. Maybe 8th. as far as vickers goes dale did almost the same thing to Carl Edwards. should he have been given the victory ?

as much as i would like to see him win the cup,no i dont think he will.sure mathematically he still can,but no i dont see it.
people want to say if it werent for his dad he would be nobody.that is about as BS as it gets.there are other earnhardt childeren also, that are not even close to being as good as jr.
what about all the other father son, brother combos that were out there racing at one point and time.how come people dont look at them in that point of view.
i think what it is that they are just mad when a earnhardt beats up on their fav driver.
i think junior will win his 2 or 3 championships, but he will never rival his dads career.
all i can do is root for my next option and that is the 31 car ...........GO BURTON

personally , i feel Jr lost it after his firey crash last year although he does seem to be getting his balz back . i think 2nd would be a great finish for him this year. . maybe next year ,if he can straighten out the rest of the team
as for what happen last week --rubbing is racing.--. i doubt it was intentional
everyone seems to make a big deal out of it if Jr gets the short end
remember he is Jr not Sr
if it wasnt for his dad he would be nobody

go Mark Martin (not a big fan of his but gotta give him his due)

He still does have a shot at it. I personally would like to see Martin win it. As long as it isn't a Hendrick car--I really don't care.
