Yes they were, they just didnt take advantage of it. Ok, so the mets got a double play @ home, 1 mistake that im still upset about but c'mon team, move on. They let that one mistake take all their momentum. Game 1 should've been the Dodgers' as well as game 3 but shouldve, would've, could've, it doesnt matter anymore. The Dodgers had everything going in their favor entering the playoffs, the mets had lost 2 starters, the dodgers were coming in with a 6 game win streak, the regular season ended great, but it seems like they were satisfied just entering the playoffs, too excited that they forgot that they had to win to move on. But oh well, there's always next season, right?

They lost all momentum from that game 1 flop with the double slide out at home.

They just looked like their wind was taken right out of them

I think they were. I felt that they didn't really play to their full potential. They also had too many errors, I mean come on, two runners out at home plate. I still can't get over that. Game one should have been theirs.
