The news that irritates me the most is what I consider the over reporting of an event. I am sick of hearing North Korea testing a nuclear weapon. I have had with Katrina reporting. I also will not read or listen to any reporting if the intention is to feel sorry for people who don't appear to deserve my pity.

I hate human interest stories, like the homeless lady who gave her cats to charity or the old man living in squalor because the pension is not high enough.
But most of all I hate it when a celebrity dies and they do a 4 page spread on how good they were for the next week. That is annoying more than anything because all they do is reword their old stories.
