I need to know the best steps to break a habbit that I have been doing to years that I want to stop doing please any advice will help

Someone told me that if you do a specific activity for 21 days straight it becomes normal for you to do it. So maybe you can replace this habit you want to break with a good one? If it doesn't work once, keep trying.

The sex drive is very strong. It is that way for a reason. Look how many generations and how many trillions of people have lived because the sex drive is so strong. The human race is existing because the sex drive is exactly that, a drive, a strong drive. I remember a guy I knew who daily reminded us that there was nothing more powerful than the Thang. Boot camp during the sixties was as real as it gets. Viet Nam was going hot and heavy. They claimed they threw salt-peter in our food, but I never knew if that were true or not. We just plumb forgot all about sex Of course a drill Sergeant in those real fire breathing dragon days of Nam might make you more likely to sh*t in your pants than have a lustful thought. Amazing though, after those days, the drive was back, assuring us that the human race was not on the edge of extinction, if we could help it. That drive will propel you into marriage and lots of kids. That's why God put that drive there. He created it and said, it is good. So get with the plan.

Define the habit then, we can try to help. There is no simple solution to break all habits in general.... Is your habit one of addiction? Is it a compulsive behavior that you want to stop??? What is your habit...

Think of all the good things that can come if you stop and just toss the habit out the window.

stop what u been doing for years and just think how long u can do it with out doing what u do.
