What is a creative way to begin an essay about your favorite passtime being Volleyball!!

I'd say a few of your stats, or maybe an interesting stat fron volleyball history or something similar....Or start it off with something such as, STRIKE! (Or another volleyball move - er, SPIKE? I have *no* clue what a volleyball move would be XDDD)
