Emo people?

So many people make fun of emo people. I mean it's a label i don't really like them but like i have to use it. And like so many preps say stuff about them. And why don't we talk bout preps CUZ THEY WILL LIKE KILL US!!! People don't understand that we also have feelings. >=(

I hate preps...they think they are better than anyone...when they know that they are all doomed to work at starbucks and barnes and noble for the rest of their lives....some end up at wal-mart. they will be fat in 10 years. While all the emo kids will be successful. I'm sick of people making fun of the emo kids....leave them the hell alone....they aint buggin u...and what makes me mad is that people get fun of for being emo AND THEY AINT EVEN EMO. Of course emos have feelings they are EMOS....FEELINGS are what make emos...emo. I love how preps make fun of emos and I see them at hot topic all the time...with their hollister shirts and flip flops...I love how they think they are cool for rockin a MCR shirt and converse...yet they make fun of emos...just like davey havok said we dont wear your abercrombie, stay away from our punk music.....well in this case....emo ( but in my defense emo is a subgenre of punk) Believe me girl I know how u feel....besides who needs labels...I dont...I get called emo, goth, loner...well the loner one does apply...but....

In my opinion, I hate EMO people!! Because c'mon, a bunch teenagers and early mature people who act like they are the only people who's got worries and problems in life and they get their problems and enlarge them and make it look like the ultimate worry in the human -or let's say creatures- history, give me a break you're young you gotta live you're life the way it should be and thank god that he blessed you with healthiness and youth and all!

But that doesn't mean that Preps are out of it, Preps always make fun of other people and they are so cocky and snobby and they think that they're the best and chosen people..

You don't need to be a Hippie, Hipster, Punk, or one of those 2 up there, just LIVE UR LIFE the way it should be. If you think you should live as an EMO well, way to go and congrats and you gotta know that the Pros and Cons of a counterculture comes in one pack.

P.S: WE DON'T NEED TO LIVE WITH LABLES

I think the majority of the people who get fun of are the preps. More so than emo.

i'm emo/goth confident there's a distinction and that i'm a combination of the two... My dad calls me emish, i'm waiting for that to seize on haha... Emos are large the style rocks alongside with the flavor in music and clearly emo is created by making use of confusing lives or pasts in spite of the fact that, this does not recommend we are continuously unhappy and depressed we do smile!!

it's basically a "you have to look, act, think and feel the same way I do.." thing. people are scared of what they do not know and what they are not used to. In turn they'll make fun of it to make themselves, in turn, feel better. That's just the way people are. it's only to cover up their own securities as an individual. it's just them trying to show off so that they feel special in a world where everything is so im-personal. just dont listen to them; there's not really a solution to stereotyping or labeling. well just have to keep living with it and learn to tune it out.
