Usually, from what i've heard, the interviewer asks "Do you have any questions?" after the job interview. and it's not a good thing on your part if you dont have any questions to ask.
What would be some good questions?

This is for a basic entry job into the Retail Industry (Sears, Bestbuy, Target, Officemax, etc.)

You can ask them almost anything, relating to the job. But do refrain yourself from asking about the salary, vacation and leave. Such question will give a bad impression on the employer/interviewer that you're not serious/committed to the job.

Some questions you can ask is:
-- What is the organisation culture in your company?
-- What is the normal daily routine you practised here?
-- Say if I were to make a mistake, not that I will when I'm on the job, what will be your response? (For this question, try to make it like you're joking but a little serious at the same time.)

That should be enough during the interview. Hope it'll help and good luck on clinching that job! :-)

The asking of "do you have any questions" is really kind of a formality. Employers generally don't sit down with applications and notes and say, well there both equal so let's pick the one that asked the question at the end.

It doesn't work like that. If you force questions, it will sound forced. If you have any genuine questions, ask them, not what you think will sound good or clever.

If the interview is a fair one, they are going on your overall impresson, you dress, your vibe, your work history of lack thereof and where you look like the person that bullied them in grade school. It's pretty much a combination of that.
