3. 1 is neither. It is not prime since that definition says the only factors are 1 and itself implying a distinctly different number for the second factor. It is not composite because it doesn't have any other factors besides 1, so it is neither.

4. 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31
,37,41,43,47,51,53,57,59,61,67,
71,73,79,83,87,89,91,97, I think. You might want to double check that.

7. Divisiblity rules
Divid by 2 if the last digit is even
Divide by 3 if the digits add up to a multiple of 3
Divide by 5 if the number ends in 5 or 0
Divide by 9 (can't quite remember this one) If digits add up to a multiply of 9????
Divide by ten if the number ends in 0.

Prime numbers are numbers that can only be divided into itself and 1. Composite numbers have more factors than just 1.
A factor is numbers that can go into the number like 8, numbers that can go into it is 1,2, & 4,. Multiples are the numbers that is multiplyed by the other number like if i have 12 multiples of 12 would be 24 (12x2), 36 (12x3) and so on...... the number 1 is i thnk prime because it can go into 1 and by itself.... well yeah i think that is all i can answer right now because i g2g and answer my e-mails! hope you got a good comparison!
