Everyone has the right to vote, too bad some of them can't get to the polls!

They certainly need to do more to promote equality in the polls... it's true that it's harder for poorer people to vote. One problem is that income tax pays for voting and in many places, they are required to use equipment (voting machines) which are too expensive, and therefore have to wait longer to vote. then they are in danger of losing their jobs... of course it's illegal to fire someone because they left work to vote, but these laws aren't easily inforced, and a lot of people don't know about them anyway and won't take the risk.

In your larger areas with public transportation, that isn't a problem. But in rural areas, it is. Many churches and organizations do provide free transportation to voters who would otherwise be unable to travel. There are also absentee ballots that you can submit through the mail. And many polling places are within walking distance even if you're out in the country.

Still, I'm sure some people don't go to the polls because they either don't know these services are available in their area or they just miss the absentee ballot deadline to submit their ballot. Either way, I don't think it's a government issue... it's a community issue. The community should provide free cab service or busing to the polls, and only the polls, on election day.

It does make sense. It will never happen. The politicians rush around looking for supporters, and register a bunch of people. However, on election day, no provisions are made to actually get those people to the polling places.
No need to worry, the people that have no transportation to get to voting venues still get to vote. They aren't aware that they voted, (ie. someone entered a vote for them in their absence), and that someone may not particularly vote the way the registered voter would have.

They can get there, just like anyone else, but some of them are so used to being bribed by the liberals with cartons of cigarettes that they're laying back to see if they can get some more this year.

Just don't provide rides for Republicans. Democrats will slash the tires. Why do liberals act like this?

They can do absentee ballots, but busing is fine too.
