Yes, if I think I've written a good anwer that I think is genuinely helpful. On the other hand, it really is frustrating to write a thougtful answer and someone is chosen best answer with something like "NO".

I do like being chosen as best answer, usually it means that you did a good job and you helped someone.

Yes, I do get happy. My daughter will come in from school and ask how many I got that day, then she will "make fun" of me for being 'Ann Landers'. She is so funny (she is 16).

I still tell her a couple times a week how many best answers I have gotten.

I'm usually suprised. Because my answers are usually kind of sarcastic or silly. Ya just never know what someone is gonna like though do ya! (It's a lot better than a nasty e-mail cuz they didn't like my answer!) lol

if I think I really deserved it, yes, i get happy. If I spent time on the answer and I'm proud of it.

AS long you're leveling up, that's the way it is, and I dont think no one will get so upset to get a BEST answer.
