Walthamstow's pretty bad, but Peckham's really dodgy.

I lived in Upper Clapton with my partner for 6 miserable months six years ago. I was scared to go in to work just in case I accidentally got shot! Especially being pregnant I was more protective than ever. There was always signs appealling for witnesses for murder, stabbing, drive by shooting, muggings and rape! It never happened once in Clapton, there was always something happening every day or so. Old people could not even be left to live in their own privacy because their homes would get broken into and the poor victims would get badly bruised or even killed. I have been living in Hackney all my life and still can't believe how bad it is getting. If you are going to leave your house make sure you got your metal armour on from head to toe. Clapton of course is known as the murder mile. But considering what I wrote there are many bad arrears in London. Bad seeds move about.

London Borough of Westminster has the highest crime figures as a whole
(you can break down the types of crime)

Think though, that you can just be in the wrong place at the wrong time to be a victim of crime, it happens all over, even the safer places of London

I live in Southwark and I agree some places are a bit dodgy but others are much better

Just had a look at gun enabled crime - Southwark is very dodgy!
