Well....because they have no idea how to do it correctly, and have never been with a man who is able to make it enjoyable for them as well as for himself.

1. Embarrassment or shyness about their bodies, particularly about their genital area. There's a lot of focus in the media etc about women's genitals and how women should wax, trim, use douches etc etc etc which is mostly aimed at selling something but has the effect of making women feel inadequate.

2. A sense of vulnerability from lying there. This could relate to trust issues.

3. An attitude in society that says that this form of sex is dirty or unnatural. This is often stronger in communities where a history of the 'sex in marriage for procreation only' ideology is strong or still persuasive (no judgement here (: )

4. Some women like to give that area another wash beforehand, not necessarily because they are dirty- they just want to be really clean for their partner. (A 'heads up' (discussion ahead of time) can help here (no pun intended))

5. Lack of good sensation on a physical level - which could be because it's not their thing, because of the way they're put together (we're all different) or because their partner needs some practise! (Could be a good excuse...)

6. Due to women's cycles- I don't mean just periods. The natural lubrication women produce can fluctuate during the month in order to help conception, and this may make a woman feel embarrassed or uncomfortable.

7. Strangeness - there is a lot of focus on the 'traditional' form of sex and men's role in it.

This isn't the same for everyone, but one thing is is - talk to your partners people! Maybe some of these things can be resolved in time with sensitivity and patience... And if not, there are a lot of other forms of sex that are great too...

Just an opinion... but most of the women who say they hate oral sex prob just haven't had it done right. My ex fiance used to make such a big deal about it that I had a complex about letting anyone else go down on me. Now, I've been in a serious relationship with my current guy for a while... He used to talk about how he liked to do it but I was always very firm that I didn't like it... He surprised me one morning and did it, it was wonderful!! Its a very private part of a woman... and us women can be insecure about it. Hope that helps a little.

For some girls, it doesn't feel good. i know for me...i hated it because i had been forced to do things in the past, so it brought me back to a place i didn't want to be. Also, some girls don't feel comfortable about their bodies. Once you find the girl that you love, and she loves you back, no matter if she hated having sex before, you'll both LOVE to do it all the time!
