Recent Wedgwood trademark may include the word 'WEDGWOOD' and the mark "W" superimposed over a vase or bottle with two handles. This was the "Portland Vase" copied by Josiah Wedgwood in the 18th century.

Did you know that Josiah Wedgwood was Charles Darwin's maternal grandfather?

Look for the Wedgwood company's web site, it may list patterns. Another thing - if you have the white figure on blue ground ware then look at it very carefully. If it's a cheap copy you will see many imperfections in the figures.
