If the pain shoots down your arm, and you're short of breath, or dizzy...all these can be signs of a heart attack. Otherwise, sometimes it can be just gas. But if you're ever worried, call your doctor. Better safe than sorry!

I went to a chiropractor a couple of months ago b/c I had a muscle spasm that went from by my spine to a rib poking my lung. My chiropractor's partner told me he had had a patient come in w/ the same type of problem and it was a heart attack. So, yes, if you are having a problem, get it checked out.

Do not ignore chest pains! My 37 year old boss died four weeks of a massive heart attack, knowing full well that heart problems ran in his family. He hadn't had a physical in 3 years and ignored the signs. He left behind a wife a 3 young children. Please, please, please DO NOT ignore these symptoms.
