sin is y/r, cos is x/r and tan is y/x
x^2 +y^2 =r^2
x^2 +3^2 =5^2
x^2 = 25 -9
x = 4
cos = 4/5
tan = 3/4

cos^2 (x) = 1 - sin^2 (x) = 16 /25
=> cos x = 4/5 or cos x = - 4/5

=> tanx = sin x / cos x = 3/4 or - 3/4

if sin x = 3/5 so a = 3 c =5
u need to find b
b= sqrt(c^2 - a^2) {phitagoras}
b = 4
so
tan x = a/b = 3/4

Then cosx = sqrt(1 - (3/5)^2) = 4/5, therefore
Tanx = 3/5/4/5
tanx= 3/4

simple...sinx= 3/5,
then, x=sin^-1(sine inverse) of 3/5 ( do it on calculator)
x=0.6435011088
Substitute, tan 0.6435011088=0.75 or 3/4....Good luck..
