In the wake of Hollywood depictions of the 911 attacks, some critics argue that human tragedy stories should be off limits. out of respect for the victimes and the friends and family members left behind. Some people alos oppose to the idea of infusing fact with fictionalized accounts in oreder to embelish a story.

My Question: Do you agree of disagree with those whoe oppose this trend? Why or Why Not? Please give long explanations and supporting facts....THIS IS NOT HOMEWORK!!!

i disagree.
shows like those remind us what happened.
people have a tendency to forget and need reminding of the atrocities that have befallen us.
we should always keep these events in our minds or we are likely to repeat them.

I don't think anyone should say "No" to anything reminding us of what happened. However it is often easy to mix fiction with reality. I feel any movies based on 9/11 resembling something like Titanic he movie would be awful. It would be an insult to survivng family members. I was on ground zero a few days ago when they brought the debris shaped as a a cross found in the rubbles, being taken and installed outside St Peter's Church. I know how i felt, how everyone felt there! So any movie about 9/11 should be made ensuring it takes everyone's feelings into account.

Use spell check next time.
Unless it was a government band on film makers, then Hollywood has the right to record and produce as it chooses with the US Constitution behind them in freedom of the press as well it is considered theater, or the arts and rights of expression. I disagree however it should be done in taste and a warning of its contents given.
