I think we move on gradually so calling them is a good idea. You will notice that as time passes by you will feel les and less the need to call them.. What you are describing is a normal way of moving on to new things. I have moved places from one continent to another and at the begining I e-mail everybody and thini of them every day etc but after a while I dont feel the need to do this anymore. Keep up the good work!

Hello. Coming to the end of a 9 or 10 year stint in a camaraderie environment like school can be a terrible wrench! It takes time to adjust for sure!! And it doesn't happen in a minute that you simply get used to a whole new routine for the first time in YEARS!!!!
Give yourself a break! It is a big adjustment. But as time goes on; you will find that the routines of bygone eras will drop away and you will once again become comfortable with your current situation.
Be at rest with yourself; it will be alright!
And re the teachers: I will leave that up to you to make that choice!
Good luck and take care!

Moving on is exciting, look at this as a new chapter in your life, you are about to embark on a new journey and progress towards adulthood. I don't think calling your teachers once a month is a good choice, how about writing them a letter every now and again telling them how well you are doing. You need to start separating yourself from your past, there are so many new opportunities out there, don't look back, look forwards

Any changes in your life can be difficult. Moving on can be painful, especially from a comfortable place.
It seems like you had nice time in high school, and that is good. You miss your teachers, then why not keep in touch with them? There's nothing wrong with that. When students graduate and start moving on, teachers miss them too.

Move on, it's part of growing up and the stages of life. There's more, when you moved on. If you appreciate the people and times you gonna leave behind, stay in touch! With the many modern technologies available, staying in touch is a breeze :-)

If you really want to you could, I guess. They are probably busy w/ their new students though.
I think it's time for you to plan out your life and start heading onto the next road. Yeah, moving on is hard but it's something we all gotta do-no matter how much it hurts.
But it's your life and it's completely your choice on what you wanna do!!

adjustment is always hard. Calling your teachers is cool as long as you are still moving on. It would be like moving on your own and not calling your parents, silly right? Obviuosly you were close to them and I am sure they enjoy hearing how your life is progressing

i know what you mean. you will move on. do it slowly if that helps at the mo, theirs nothing wrong with calling them. they can also give you advice on applying for work etc. and you havent really got anything to lose. one day the dau might come when you wont want to call them as much because you've settled too much nto what you will be doing now.

yes for sure, call them every now and again, it does take a while to move on, as they say"one door closes and another opens" so before long you would have moved on, and high school will be just a great memory, good luck.
