I think we should take the money back from the rich that Bush give them, that would go a long way toward balancing the budget. We also need to cut some spending so bring the troops home to protect us where they can be with their family's, that would save a ton of money.

No, it's past time to cut spending though. Controlling costs are the only true way to balance the budget because it's pretty much guaranteed to work, some debt is good and we will always have debt. A national debt of 2-3% of GDP is probably around the correct amount.

its time to kill the federal reserve system ... its impossible to balance and pay off the national debt without extinguishing our money supply ... but we have a bank in the middle that finances our govt with loans made from nothing, just printed paper .... your taxes simply pay the interest on the national debt and make the bank richer... kennedy had the right idea with executive order 11110 which is still on the books and could be enforced ... and had he not been killed we wouldnt be in this shite mess we are in now ...

Well, when has that ever worked. If they raise taxes they just waste more. Is the problem that we don't pay enough taxes or is it that the government too big and spending too much money.
I think government is too big and spends too much money. And we're already paying too much in taxes.

Since the national deficit is 2% of the gross GNP and was 2.7 the past 30 years, we don't need to raise taxes we need to keep Dem's out of office.

no, this year more money has been collected even though taxes are lower, when taxes get too high, rich people find tax shelters for their money in the end bringing in even less

Repubs will say this is one of the reason they hate Democrats. But guess what...Clinton was able to balance the budget.
And he still is their scapegoat or deterrence for every mistake they make.
Basically, I AGREE!
But, of course, we need more welfare and we could stop being so imperialist to stop spending the bulk money being spent nowadays.

No we should withdraw a majority of our funding for the UN. We should also legalize Majijauna and place tax it. Stricter requirments for welfare.
