Okay so heres the situation....I opened my email account & was chcking my messages, there was on ethere dated Oct Fri 13th, no return name no subect....so like a stupid *** Im SO freakin curious as to why its dated early I open it!!! Then theres is NOTHING in there but per the message size it says like 951bt????Did I just unknowingly open my computer to a virus or something??? PLEASE IM PRETTY WORRIED!!! Should I tun a virus scan right away just to be sure??? H E L P!!!!

Well, if you have an antivirus on your computer, your probably be ok. It was possible a virus contained in an email. To be safe, run a virus scan and spyware scan.

And don't do that again! Bad, bad, bad girl!

It wouldn't hurt to run your virus scan but,I'm doubting that gave it a virus...Just mark those type emails as Spam from now on.

yes, always do so when in doubt. also go to microtrends website for an online scan. if you have spyware software like adaware run it also. avg at grissoft has a trial of eweido spyware scanner that is pretty good.

if it was a Yahoo message they are scanned and virus free to begin with...........if some other e-mail you might have a virus, a tracking cookie or a million other crappy e-mail junk items ...........or nothing at all


If you are worried go ahead and scan your computer just in case

yes run a virus scan-spy ware and check for any thing else that you could have gotten in. i check mine once a week

yes you should keep virus scans going all the time.
try avast free for home users here:

go to trend micro website and do housecall, this should take care of it , if not they also have a help section
