To be able to own our own land. To be able to obtain a business and get profit from it. To be able to work and earn an income. To be able to buy (pretty much) anything we want. To be able to think for ourselves in regards of religion. To be able to have as many children as we want. To be able to walk outside without a fear of shots fired.

Some countries do not have these freedoms.

As far as I'm concerned we have little freedom left. We are the most regulated society in the world. We have the highest population of prison inmates per capita - higher than communist China, a scary thought. My 2nd amendment right to bear arms doesn't allow me to wear a sword in public, or in this state (MA) to own a freaking BB gun. My 4th amendment right to not be unreasonably searched or seized has been taken away by the Bush administration. I can't play poker for money with friends in this state. Heaven Forbid I should use marijuana. I can't refuse to cut my lawn in Baltimore. In Arkansas no one can buy a dildo. I can't go into a church and shout "It's lies, all stinking lies!" I can't buy 100% pure alcohol, even for scientific experiments. I can't shoot a skunk with a pellet gun to get if off the property. I can't have a campfire on a beach at night, and it goes on and on.
