1952-53 Fort Lewis, Washington..the wilderness is north of the camp the rocky mountain are there and the Olympia forest too but the lights where were the wavy slow winter lights, everything up there is a little different, the dryness in the winter can make little diamonds that don't seem to fall sometimes they just shimmers and look like prisms and the auroras were interesting but they were there so much that we didn't pay allot of attention to them, the back 15 miles are very demanding and the view of the forest ranger station and it beacon is all that we had to guide us, but there was no us must of the time, i would pack out and travel half a day and try and come back in a half a day i was 9 years old and it makes the sky light up in my memories when you ask that question

No, nor have I met anyone who can demonstrate that they have seen such a thing. About as close as anyone has come to this is the use of Kirlian photography.
