You could go as Carrie (oh yea...14, the girl who got a bucket of blood dumped on her at prom then she went all psycho and killed everyone). You could design a costume in which your head has been chopped off. You could also place a fake arm inside of a sleve and have the other arm have a gruesom puppet then the puppet would pop out of your chest (stomach) and scare people.

How about the girl from the movie The Ring, I didnt see the movie ,but she is ugly. They made fun of that movie in the other movie Scary movie. I'm sorry for not being able to give you more info on that.

I just answered a similar question...to me so far this year, the scariest costume i have seen is the SAW masks (you can wear a black cape with it, pretty cheap), they r weird and scary at once...

you could go as the girl from the grudge... just find a white night gown, long straight black wig, white face paint. just keep your mouth open and make that weird noise. i know if i saw someone in that i would pee my pants!!!!
