I have been a carpet installer for 15 years and it amazes me every week when i see peoples questionsaznd the stupid answers that people accept. You all deserve to have bad flooring if you take advice from awebsite like this..

I really hope that your observation is not accurate. I personally don't put a lot of weight on what people respond when I ask something. To me, this answers thing is just a way to kill a few minutes of free time. I've also asked myself why people ask the most personal of questions instead of seeking professional help. Sure it's cheaper to ask here (free), but you WILL get what you pay for. I agree with you, and you should give them the bad flooring.

I've been in the trades for a lot of years, happened upon this forum, and the majority of the time offer valid advice.
I agree that many questions and answers are inane,,,but this is also a place to play and be entertained for many.
The wonderful news is,,, "We",,,you, me, others, can exercise our greatest freedom,,,"Choice",,, and in doing so can ignore what isn't valid, and offer validity to those who may truly just be ignorant on a topic, but honestly want help.
I also have wondered,,,especially when I do answer in a valid way, often with a detailed description, why the questioner chooses some answer that in truth. will be no help at all.

maybe people dont want to pay jerks $150 dollars for a repair that would only take them 10 mins and $20?????? Like the carpet guys that charged $75 to fix a rip in the carpet i can repair for the cost of a $10 roll of carpet tape, a moist towel and a steam iron borrowed from my wife.

are you the standard of what a good answer is ? just consider what you dont apreciate an alternetive way of seeing things your right must not always fit evrey body people are just diferent seeing and accepting deferent views

ive seen people ask qeustions about translation (like english to spanish) and if you look at everyones answers there all different. some of them said cuss words in spanish instead of giving them the translation
