Okay. I recently applied to nine different fast food chains. I got a call from a Papa John's pizza place and they asked me to come in for an interview. I think it went pretty well and the interviewer told me that they would call me at the latest by the end of next week if I got the job because they were going to interview some more people. Does it seem like they will call me to give me the job?

Follow up with the job, employers seem to like that. It shows you really want the job. If you dont get the job dont worry..

They usually call even if it's to tell u that you didn't get the job. It's always a plus though for you to call or go in and ask about it. it lets them know that you're really interested in the job and gives u a better chance of getting it.

Some companies have the policy not to call unsuccessful applicants. In your case, wait till end of the week for them to call, as promised. If they didn't, give them a call to check on the status (as you did not received any call at all, AND YOU ARE KEEN TO KNOW THE STATUS). This is important - to let them know your interests.

It is a job that probably isn't in high demand unless you are in high-school looking for a part-time job and if you interviewed well I am sure you got the job.

Acyually, no. But that's okay. In my experience, you will get some hint of them really wanting to hire you while your in the Interview.

Don't worry though, the job that you will really enjoy is the one that WILL hire you. Think positive ;)
