my friend last had her injection in may and was due her injection in august but hasnt had it. she decided to come off it because she was very depressed and put on weight. basically 2 questions
1. she had sex with bf since august. unprotected sex at that. what is the chance she pregnant?
2. how long til she get a period?
note she been feeling and been sick nearlly everyday and has stomach cramps and backache for 4 weeks...
and it AINT ME

1. The chance of her getting pregnant is high, although the hormones usually stay in the system for a while, she should not be having unprotected sex... at least use condoms.
2. It may take a few months for her period to come back, again because of the residual hormones in her system.
It sounds like she needs to go and see her doctor, feeling sick every day and stomach cramps is not a good sign. Good luck

There is a great chance that she could be pregnant. It does depend on her body, some women take longer 2 get pregnant after depo. As far as the period, depo screwed up my periods. I was bleeding constantly for 4-5 months. Went 2 gyn and he suggested that I take the pills 2 get it back on track.

if she has had unprotected sex then it is very possible that she could be pregnant. however the depo injection can mess up your periods and so they can take a while to go back to normal. id do a pregnancy test to be sure and then either go back on the pill or use condoms.

i went on the depo injection in December 2002, took my self of it in January 2004, but went onto the pill formula, my periods went back to normal with in a month. then in august/September my husband and i started trying for a baby and succeeded in October. it depends on how well your body responds to the injection! mine didn`t, i had no side effects to the injection, it didn`t make me moody or put on weight, i was my normal self, everybody is different and different things effect people in different ways. your friend could be pregnant the only way to find out for sure is to buy a test or visit the doctor.

i had the depo shot one time last october and still havent had a period...my husband and i have unprotected sex everyday....and nothings happend to us yet...i wouldnt say the percent is very good that shes pregnant that thing really messes up your system goodluck to yyour friend

could be side effects of coming off the injection or she could be pregnant!

same exact thing as me--- only I went on yaz for a month and am waiting for a period. In general it seems 6 months is average.
