Well I'm from Texas but the university of Hawaii started the tailgate but to them it was a hibachi and teriaki chicken, they love to have a little luau before the game, and yes that's were it started in the parking lot of Aloha stadium.

i got to say the SEC, a because we are southern, we knwo how to BBQ with beer, second because of the energy and hype before the games, its amazing! in second place i woul put any tailgating parties in texas
