Dogpile or google. "Dogpile" has all the best search engines such as google, yahoo search, msn search, and a few more all piled into one search engine. It's pretty cool, plus it has a new joke every day.

Google, period. They use a different algorithm to search than others, which simply return the pae with the most occurrences of the search term. So if you were to post a page on a Geocities website with 10000 times "McDonalds", a result from a cheap engine would put your page at the top of the list. However, google would actually put McDonalds.com or whatever their site is at thre top.

Google is widely recommended. You'll get better results when you search for a word or a question compared to some other popular web searches. Goodluck!
